<t>I did a few loops out front of the ditch as well between 3:30 and 5:30. Marked a few small bait balls between 35' and 50', but not much for fish.<br/>

When the wind switched a bit more out of the West and picked up, it was too nautical for my little Alumacraft, so I beat tail back in.<br ...

Tons of perch around Michigan city
<t>My sister was up from Austin TX for a visit, so I took her out fishing yesterday. We were trolling around hoping to find some silver fish out in 40 - 60 FOW since the temp break set back up. New Buffalo 7-18-17
<t>There is a story forthcoming, of course, but let me qualify that I am about as non-expert as can get when it comes to trolling for walleye, which is essentially what we were doing, presumably quite similar to the way a lot of guys fish Erie. So I'd read up on that stuff or I'm sure there are ...

Michigan City 9-24-17
Kept 16, tossed back dozens. 3 anglers, 7-11 am, 20 to 30' off blue water tower best.
Couple other boats to the east seemed to be doing the same. Major swarms of dinks following hooked fish at times, but keepers (8-11") occasionally mixed in with them.
