Braid all season?
Holidays are over so in mind it might as well be Spring! Wondering if anyone if is running braid all year long as a main line on riggers and if so, what kind and weight?

I never ran braid off riggers cause the line seems to slip through the pinch pad of the release plus the no stretch in the line(I prefer a little give in the line). Don't know about rubber bands holding the braid unlike pinch pad kind? Guess you could spool up on braid and splice a 100ft of mono, then replace mono after wear. Mike

I second that. Fleas would be a bitch, plus the stretch issue. Many releases would not hold it well. I use chamberlain releases which would work well, however I am guessing you would have a ton of releases from non hookups. A fish could sniff that spoon on braid and it would release haha.
