Got the shakedown trip out of the way for the year...finally. Headed out at about 6:45 in the chaos of East Chicago with 100 of my closest friends. Tried to stay away from the craziness as much as possible and still ended up doing alright. Finished the day at roughly 21 for 24 or so. Caught 5-6 nice lakers which is a lot of fun this time of year when they’re still lively and fighting. Brought home 15 Coho and a Laker that wasn’t releasable due to a deep hook job. Had a great time on the water and the weather was perfect.
