4-3 quick shakedown
Left Whiting after work tonight. I chose to just fish the Ship Canal but sounds like we should have done the inland wall instead. We went 2 for 4, got one on a copper thin fin and lost one on it, got one on a lucky strike jointed lure but not sure of exact color at the moment. Also lost one on that lure. Both Coho were smaller - 15.5 and like 16-17". Nothing great but no skunk and the boat ran great.

I would have thrown back the smaller one but when I got him out, he jumped around like a young coho will and ended up putting one of the hooks through my pants (and scrapped the leg). By the time I was able to finally get him off the hook while still connected to my jeans, his mouth was pretty messed up and didnt figure he would make it anyways if I threw him back.
