The Port 3/20/21
Headed out before daybreak and decided to target the waters around the Port. Ran riggers and one 3 color LC being solo. Caught one nice coho on a rigger spoon around 7:15 and then I couldn’t get a bite until around 8:30. Changed up my rods to 2 flat lines w/ shallow divers and one downrgger (no planner boards). In the next 2 hours trolling laps around the mouth on the Port I picked up 6 more fish. I kept a nice limit and released the others to fight another day. Lake temp was around 40 surface temp and the ditch was around 45. That north blow sure cooled things down for sure. The other boats out looked to be be picking away at fish as well. I didn’t talk to anyone who went down to Gary light today so I’m not sure if it was any better out west.

Thanks for the report and nice fish. I'm planning to get out there soon.
