Pretty isolated but Bluegill are on their second round of bedding!  Found some the other day Bass fishing and got to fish them this evening.  Fish fry!!

Trent,

let me know if you need help controlling the Bluegill population on your pond.  Especially in the winter.  They are even better tasting through the ice!!

I live in Rolling Prairie. I have only been on Pine a few times due to heavy boat traffic. My wife and kid fish off the dock on the north side during the week when I'm working 2nd shift.

We have caught a bunch of nice bluegills full of eggs recently on Juno and Corey lakes in SW Michigan. The spawn was kinda early with the hot weather then they moved out, but are returning here and there.

Really nice grocery run! I don’t think I have seen late season gills and redear that big and spawning that late. Fantastic!
