My son and I went out Saturday night and trolled around the mouth of the ditch to the port of Indiana.  We were fishing in 30 - 50 ft of water and ended up with 2 coho's.  1 came on a Blue Hulk spoon and the other one came on a red dodger and blue/green fly.  We had 1 hit on our meat rig but it came off after a 10 min fight.  It felt like it was something big.  If the weather is good we will try it again on Saturday morning ....

There have been some pretty darn good reports (for recent years anyway) out of both Michigan City and Burns Harbor

1 and 3 year olds returning at Burns Harbor

1 and 2 year olds returning at Michigan City

With some cold water nearshore and a few cooler nights there have been some kings shooting up the creeks. Already seen more this year than all of last year

Thanks for the updates. Any specific depth out of Burns Harbor? I haven’t been out in forever due to multiple things going on. I will be heading out Friday morning on 68 if anyone wants to talk.

I stopped by the Lamphrey barrier on Trail the other day and was surprised to see a few nice Kings hanging out.  There are a few out there for sure!

Thanks Ben,
Three years in a row of producing kings in Indiana water.

Those 1yr. old's mixed in will not be fin clipped. 2020 the year of no fin clips.
