Hey Fellas,
I’ve been fishing for winter perch for the last 3 to 4 years And I Love It !!! My wife doesn’t allow me to ice fish so this is a heaven sent. I was recently a member of Chi town angler but that site is not in existence anymore so I was looking for another site to get my perch information. I live the north suburbs and the information on this site helps me decide if I’m going to drive to 45 minutes to an hour to do some fishing so I really appreciate the post.

PERCH ROCK !

Welcome to the site! I was last out Tuesday and we found them at the mouth and in the first turnaround basin just past 92nd street bridge. Using minnows and shrimp, minnows produced more.

Welcome to this site. You'll like it, I'm sure. There are some great participants here.  I'm puzzled about your Chi town anglers comment.  There are some new posts there from just a few days ago.

Hi BNature,

I'm new to this site myself, I also came looking for an alternative site since Chi-town is closing down. They are scheduled to close sometime in December.

Tight Lines...

I wonder why chi town would close down, always been a pretty good site.  Perhaps the owner just moving on to different things?

Owner said he felt it has ran its course,  far fewer participants with Facebook groups becoming more popular.
