Fished sunrise till 12:30pm est. mostly from the state line down to the harbor and back primarily in 55-60fow. We were targeting kings (got 2)but still managed to catch 8 coho also. We ran DR at 34’ and 41’, 1 diver, 7 color and 150 CU. Everything got hit at least once. We got a 22# king on the 7 color with a mag blue flounder spoon. A 10# king on the 150CU with a standard size RV flounder pounder. Lost a mid teens ( guessing) king at the back of the boat when he tied a loop around the DR cable and took off with our Mag bloody nose spoon. Coho hit everything we had out also. As teamsmokercraft said in his post there were a lot of boats in close for the kids tournament. Beautiful day out there!
