Ditch to MC 6.28
I guess I should post since I didn't see anyone else dumb enough to be looking for perch yesterday. Launched at ditch 6:30 checked the mud line, #4, at the donut saw what looked like a school of perch but no hits, went to state park-nothin, at MC just w of harbor in 41' saw another "perch" school-came up w 1 dink. Lake was still rolling, hard to keep line from bouncing all over the place. Eerie smoky haze on lake.

Hey its not dumb when you're the only boat out and absolutely hammer them. Someone's gotta be the first to smash them this summer, and it won't be the folks sitting on the couch!

You're right. I never caught one fish while sitting in my lazy boy, but there's a few times it would have been nice to have the lazy boy on my boat. . .Hmm

We were trolling yesterday and launch out of Michigan City. Fishing was good and has been but the smoke and haze were really bad in the morning.
