Headed back NB out of Portage again hoping for similar results as the previous week.  Quantity wasn't as high and fish not as hot but still holding fish. Indoctrinated a newbie into LM fishing and after losing 4 in a row I gave him the "We are not bluegill fishing here" speech and it did the trick.  Next fish he had on was a boat record King at 26.1lbs which he handled beautifully becasue if he didnt he was going to be floating!  So two years ago a kid who had never fished before caught a 44lbs King, a few weeks a young lady on her first outing got an 18lbs coho, and this young man steps on to my boat and LM for the first time and blows away any King I have caught on the boat after 30 years......Fish Gods are laughing....
