The short version; fished 12:30 to 5:30, no fish. The real story is that the wife decided Sunday night that she would like to go with me after a buddy backed out. Cool! Our first date was when she was still in the 8th grade and I was a freshman. I have pics of her catching her first largemouth when she was just 15. We've now been married over 34 years and I don't know anything else but her. She doesn't fish with me as often as she used too but still likes to get out a few times a year. I knew when she decided to go that any chance of getting out early or planning any kind of schedule was out the window. Sure enough, Monday morning at 5am I'm hooked up and ready to go. Finally got her in the truck around 11. Then we had to stop for a bite to eat. Then we had to stop for a potty break. Got the boat in the water but had to wait for another potty break. We put in at Trail Creek and proceeded to the lake. Getting the lines out, she builds a nasty birds nest in one of the 209s. Down one rod but that's okay, got another. Next, buried the treble of a J plug in the carpet. Finally get all rods set and troll in the 1'-2' chop. Went out to 60 fow north and east of break wall. Never marked anything. Tried spoons, cut plugs, flies, and jointed raps. Somewhere along the way "we" dumped a diet coke all over the boat and managed to spill a bag of combos everywhere. We laughed and joked and teased each other like a couple of kids. When I complained about the lack of fish, she said " shut up and enjoy the scenery" and proceeded to pull the shirt and bra up and shake her boobies at me. I had a great afternoon on the water with my best friend and even though no fish were taken, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Well now we know were the bra came from in the "unusual catch" post LOL. My wife goes with me when she can - some health issues keep her from going out every time. I have been with my wife since she was 15 so like you she is all I really know. I always enjoy our time on the boat -like the other said; its always about catching fish (although she does tend to out fish me often).
