5/10 afternoon portage
Weather was too nice, and with the reports of some bait finally showing up we had to go give it a couple hours after work today to see if we couldn’t stick a king or two. Lines in the water around 5ish, worked from the mouth of the ditch over to the number 4 out in 50 fow with a 9 rod spread. Riggers set down around 40 with sliders did most the work, 1 fish on a flasher fly/ dipsey rod and 1 fish on a 100’ copper standard size spoon. Blue dolphin was looking good to them tonight. Lots of bait on the graph and quite a few good looking marks but no takers in the king category. Ended up 6 for 6 though with some pretty nice coho and got a bloody cooler pic just for BN!! Get out there and get um!!
