Skam Update Portage 7/15

Gave it a solid morning with the rain/storms. Went 0 for 1 on steelies and 7 for 7 on big drum. The drum saved they day they are a blast to catch in shallow water.

We caught 12 drums Sunday evening trying for skams in st joe. Lol

Should of went offshore. Lakers were not something we wanted so didnt but seen a few kings caught.

On the radio this morning it sounded like they were taken in 85ish FOW in Illinois.

Today seemed to be rough for everyone, weather wasnt even in the ballpark of the forecast and fishing was tough. We tried offshore for a few hours with nothing to show for it, then moved in to try for some skamania. Had two hits on an orange 00 dodger with green tinsel fly, but couldn't get them in.
