I told my friend Dan Sunday morning as I was putting a J plug 20' off a board... dumb stuff works sometimes. After the 2nd fish bit it I said, I bet a green spinerbait would work. I'm glad to see someone tried it! :woohoo:

A few years back I remember we were having a slow day. My dad who fished alot in the 70's and 80's had some of his old tackle aboard. He said throw out "thumper" and a squidget. I know sounds crazy, ,my facial expression to him said the same thing. "thumper" was a 17" Luhr Jensen "kelp cutter" from back then. No sooner I drop it on the dipsey we started slaying the coho. Just goes to show you weird stuff pays off sometimes.
