Five large (10-11") perch, couple handfuls of throwbacks (4-5") and a couple gobies in three hours this morning. 30' of water off Black Ditch best, but had bites at multiple spots in 20-30' both west and east of harbor. Half-dozen other boats doing the same. Conditions -water temps, bait, etc. look promising for better fishing soon, but not today.

Thanks for the report mike - thought I saw you coming in past the office but wasn't sure.
FWIW on the 8th we finished our gill net sampling and didn't have a ton of perch but probably half of them still had eggs. Probably will finish up spawning by the end of the week I would think.
Looks like we're getting a thermocline to start setting up too! Can't wait for the bite to turn on

Not I - was in/out of Wash. Park Marina.
More importantly, liking the thrermocline at the buoy - was planning on starting in that depth this evening due to a couple of trollers out of MC not doing well on coho in the 70-90' range this morning - was hoping they moved in, not away, but the weather ended any plans
