I maybe run off shore 10 times a year that of which is usually not past the shoals or at best Waukegan which drops deep pretty fast I have Manuel down riggers n have 8 pounders so I'd like to stick to 10 s so there's not that much blow back in that deeper water i normally fish close to portage and when the salmon aren't close I mainly fish inland lakes for pannies!! Don't laugh dirty!!!
