M.C. Perch Tuesday
Hoping for a good report. I have a 4 day weekend off starting Friday. I would love to get my boy out for perch, prefer Michigan City and Mt Baldy area. The weather has to be perfect as our ride is a 16' Ranger Fisherman. Hope to make it happen at least once out of 4 opportunities.

Went out yesterday,caught about a dozen 6-7” perch and two over 12”. The bite was pretty slow out in 50fow black ditch

Was out west of the ditch and along the mudline today/this morning from 15-25 ft, had a ton of marks, definitely alewives present but with as many marks as were on the bottom, I suspect some perch were probably there too, maybe well fed with all of the bait? My buddy caught one alewife and had a few hits but no perch caught. About 15 other boats out and didn’t see much action. Hoping they turn on soon!

Worked around Blacks Ditch from 7 to 11 am. 38' in to 15' . Marked lots of fish around 25' on bottom up to 15' with no takers.
