Portage 7/16 Morning
Went out of portage the morning of 7/16. Headed north east to the Michigan Indiana border and set up. Trolled with the waves east north east for about 2 hours with no action. Did a 180 to head back to port against the waves and found a few coho around 10 am. Went 2/3 on the day. 2 on spoons on a board running a keel sinker and 1 on a flasher fly dipsy. All fish caught were in the top 40 foot of water. Water was much rougher than the forecast showed and water currents were not consistent at all. Tough day on the water, but still learning.
