One of my Abu Garcia 5000 reels crapped out on me yesterday. After only 5000 fish! Bet I can fix it!

I bought four of them back in 1987 at the Chicago Boat Sport and Travel Show - back when it was a big show and lasted 10 days. There was a store called Reed's Sporting Goods (from Walker MN) there and they were a "licensed" Abu dealer and repair shop. They had a bushel basket full of these reels for sale, used, but refurbished, for $20 each. These are the "made in Sweden" reels that come with a lifetime warrantee. Even if I can't fix it, I can send it to Reeds, Bass Pro or other Abu licensed repair shot and it will be repaired for the price of shipping.
