Went down with the family to visit the in-laws in Florida and got everyone out on a for fun Deep Sea Charter. We went with Craig Best - Crabby Charters as he does Ft. Myers in the winter, and Milwaukee on the big lake in the summers - excellent captain! Had a lot of great convo on the state of the lake and furthermore caught a TON of fish - well over 140 overall and probably 10-12 different species. We ended up only about 10 miles offshore as the "non-fisherpeople" in the family didn't want to be out there all day. We ate snapper and grouper for days!
I also spent a lot of time casting in the freshwater in local lakes and ponds and nabbed well over 50 largemouth but nothing huge - with 6 lbs being the best.
I need to win the lotto so I can live down there in the winters hehe.
