A group of fishing buddies went to Erie for a couple days over the weekend. They did great for a two day outing ( I got to sit home, work and read texts of great fishing). They were fishing out of Turtle Creek. Here is a group shot with some of the spoils.

I took the boat over there a couple of weeks ago and it was pretty good. We caught a lot of short fish and had a lot of bonus Catfish and Bass.

We were there 5 days. Had one blow day so we bass fished off the docks and drank. It was fun. The other days were pretty much like the picture with 15-17 good Walleye. Great trip I recommend to anyone. We stay on South Bass and it's a lot of fun. On the flip side this has been a tough early season for me. My kids are pretty busy and I haven't fished much on the big pond. I think the remainder of the year will be better. I hope so at least. Cannot fish the tourney this Saturday due to my sweet niece's 1st birthday party that I won't miss.
