Gonna head up in a few weeks. Never been there before. Can anyone recommend decent lodging that is reasonably priced, close to the fishing and fisherman/rig friendly?
Gonna head up the weekend of July 23. Leave Friday morning and come home Monday afternoon. Any of you guys want to put a crew together and join us, feel free!!! The more the merrier!

You better be getting your room set quickly. That's the "high" season for Door County and finding an empty room will be tough.
That being said, try Snug Harbor Resort. Great facility. Sand Bay Resort is nice, as well, especially if non-fishers will be involved but you will have to trailer and launch daily from Sand Bay.

Thanks Mike. Ended up scoring a 3 bed room at Cherryland motel, above Howies tackle. Gonna be perfect for us, I think.......may get expensive, lodging above a tackle shop!
