I fished the East Cape of the Baha peninsula last week in the Sea of Cortez. My fishing partners and I caught at least one marlin each day as well as a couple of sailfish. Expensive? A bit, but less expensive than a fly-in to Canada or almost any trip to Alaska. No mosquitoes, either! Plenty of heat.
Attached photos are of my first ever striped marlin and my only sailfish of the trip.
