Don't forget about fixed sliders. We used them with great success when we fished contests. Most when going deep for Lakers. You set your bottom bait & run it down 10' to 20' which ever you feel best. Then take your slider hook it to the main line. Then half hitch a rubber band to the down rigger cable. Connect your slider snap to the rubber band. This gives you 2 baits running near the bottom. And yes it is great to get 2 at once.
Almost forgot to say. Don't forget to hook the snap to your main fishing line after connected to the cable. It's not the right way but makes for a very interesting time if you get 1 to bite on the bait hooked to the rigger cable only. LOL
I actually accidentally bought two sliders from Chamberlain when I was buying my downrigger releases so I do have them to use also. I know it is not exactly the same and it does require an extra pole but same idea.

Those are stackers. I have a number of them too. I used them a alot a while back and rarely anymore. You can really get a nice spread with them if you have enough people on the boat. As you say, it requires an extra rod on each rigger. I will probably go back to using them when I have a big crew.

Pretty hard to beat the chamberlain releases IMHO.

First time using them today Jeff and was extremely impressed. I went off of yours and many others on here recommendation for them and could not be more pleased (down rigger releases that is - the Stackers have not been used yet).

I'll see what I can put together for you.
