First outing of 2019

Hey guys new to site. Just wanted to share that I made it out today with no luck at Gary light, saw nobody wetting nets, picked up and headed west to shipping canal and picked up 2 nice lakers that were safely released. Otherwise great day out and boat ran great. Will be out again from EC on Thursday

Thanks for the report! Seems it has been tough the last few days. I am guessing the fish are moving around until the lake flips - just my guess. Based on that, I would tend to think once we get in the high 30's temps, action will get more consistent, and likely real good as fish move in.

It seems very day to day we should have more fishing coming in soon. Hopefully you get them good tomorrow.
