See everyone tomorrow morning. Slez has plenty of bait in waiting! Conditions will be on the challenging side - hopefully everyone is rewarded for their efforts.

The perch rally was a success but it was very challenging to say the least. We only had 3 boats show up but those three boats worked their tails off! Competitiors were myself, poorboy, and horsefly. II will post the official results in the events section either later tonight or tomorrow. Wish more guys would have come out!! Northwoods kid "junior" took the big fish- she came in at 14 1/8".

Marking and finding fish was not a problem, getting them to bite however was extremely tough. My guess is the recent weather played a large role. The bite should get hot soon and hopefully mother nature will let us get out there.

Look forward to hearing the results. Wish I could have fished but this time of year is tough. I took care of leaves all day today. Maybe next year I'll start my winter project in the winter!! On a side note one year ago today we had a significant amount of snow on the ground at my house.

Congrats Bud!

We all had a great time and the weather was pretty good. Hopefully Round 2 of the tourney has some good stable weather as well. Glennd we'll fish the next one.

Congratulations Bud and the rest of you never-say-quitters. I was butchering deer all day. Helped fill freezers at my house, brothers' and nephews'. didn't get to relax and watch the Bears until way past dark-thirty. I think they won. Were way ahead in the fourth quarter before I woke up at midnight to go to bed!
