Not sure how long they'll be there, but my dad and I pulled 20 nice perch out of 15-25fow east of the donut this evening. We trolled during the afternoon and set up for perch about 6, ran out of minnows around 7. Pretty good average size with a few throw backs mixed in. Probably good have limited out if I hadn't tossed the dead minnows from the bucket.

Fished Sunday east of donut, lots of small ones, kept 10. Not many boats out even at the beach, forecast probably kept a lot of people on land.

Catching Perch is like playing a slot machine. Very few times you get lucky anymore. Sad that the Perch fishing has been so poor in the last several years.

The spring was really good to us for perch. The summer has been a little more hit and miss than usual. I blame it on the inconsistent weather.

I am talking about the good ol days when you could load the boat almost everytime you went. No matter where you fished you caught them. I blame the zebra mussles. Wish they could solve that problem. There was no limit then.
