Fished yesterday morning for 3 hours. No perch tried east and west of the ditch. 1 boat by the donut caught about 10.

It’s almost time. Early July last year was productive. Was the water temp still around 67?

Went out yesterday around 4pm with my stepson come out of the ditch turned right headed straight for 40 fow dropped down a couple minnows right away pick up nice 13 inch perch set back up down goes the tip another. Dropped anchor sat for 45 minutes nothing pulled up anchor starting to drift and the action started again they wanted it moving come in with 20 perch and one drum

I got out Sunday morning. Started out in shallow by the gazebo and pulled a couple keepers and a spare tire sized drum out of the piles of alewives in 20-30ft. Moved around a bit and decided to drift through the pack off the donut. Found our best bite of the day in 35-40ft out there. Drifting or dragging the rigs with the trolling motor seemed to help. We wrapped it up with 20 in the box and threw a lot back. Baby roaches on double drop shot, no flies or beads just plain hooks.

I heard someone limited out in like 8 FOW in portage today quickly. Take it for what you will, third party information. When the water temps are just right, I have certainly seen that before in years past.
