went out after work tonight looking for perch, shot over to the donut and started looking around with the graph, made it 3 miles east or so and did not find much. decided to head back over to the mouth and look around for some, couldn't find anything that looked like perch so we gave up on that and set some big rods to see if we could maybe find a straggler steel head , hit one on a rigger rod on the set up pretty much straight north of the mouth in 40 fow or so. rigger was set at 36' down, made circles out front for the rest of the night in 40 to 50 fow and ended up 3 for 4 in less than an hour.rleased the first fish, the other two went in the box. didn't think we would really hook anything but we had the trolling rods in case we weren't able to find the perch and it ended up making are night! 2 fish came on the same rigger and one on a dipsey set on a #1 setting 90' out. orange and glow spoons took fish

I talked to a perch-jerker today who watched the guy next to him over by the donut catch a Skammie. With these south winds, sometone with a probe should check the water temps off the ditch in the next day or two. This might be "the weekend" it comes together!

Lots of steel out by the bizy corners as well.

Good going WB

The one on the left appears to be a king?

More like a coho. Judging from it's anal fin. Still, hard to tell from the photos.

Hmmm..... Captain Mike: I'll bet you a Labatt's Blue that the water is set up perfect off the #4 right now and it's close to prime time. Lets see, if I remember the perfect combination of 90+ degree days, south winds, and you'll be talking big-time thermocline in that 50 foot of water range, and it'll bring in other silver fish too. This weekend could get ugly...

Not sure guys, took that fish after it was dark and gave it away to a shore fisherman before we got back to the ramp cause the freezer is full, never looked to close at it, I know it was silver !! Haha

Sure looks like a Coho to me, but hard to be positive from the photo. It is definitly a Salmon, nice Job on the catch.
