I picked up a catfish on a thin fin about 2 months ago, we would catch them fishing for walleye in Erie, but for this thing up that high. Was kinda shocked, never the less, the reel got going which was fun.

I too picked up a nice channel cat last year, 14lb if I remember correctly, directly in the Port of Indiana shipping lane off the break wall on a good 2.5 mph east troll. Fuzzy Bear mag in some type of orange I believe. The guys running the crane on the sand barge gave us a thumbs up, I'm sure from their viewpoint it looked like a decent salmon.
