I am headed up Monday afternoon and plan on fishing Monday to Wednesday and maybe Thursday if the bite is good. I will probably be a one man show unless someone comes up to fish for the day. How has the bite been and any pointers?

I havent been putting in a lot of time on the water like I usually do but sounds like fishing has slowed down a lot over the past couple weeks and are entering the dog days of south end summer fishing. I dont fish perch much but hear it is hit and miss and for salmon the search is on. There are a few fish around but bring a big gas tank you will most likely need it.

Your best bet would be perch. East of the donut or West of the ditch. I should be out Monday morning and will be on 68.

Yep perch is probably the best bet from the donut on east. For big fish, probably want to get out to at least 80 FOW and beyond.
