Little longer car ride but michigan ports are getting silvers frankfurt on down through St Joe.

80 to 120 down 50 to 75. Still getting some mature chrome kings that havent run yet. Also reports of good teenage king action using the normal summer program with the thermocline still setup.

Last yr around this time through october was some good fishing in St joe for steel and teenage kings out in 170 ish fow surface on down.

Im telling my employees to stay home friday and ill be out fishing with the weather how it is there is no way I'm missing it.

We fished on my buddy coho Bob's boat on Sunday out of St Joe in 215-300fow ended up with 4 big Lakers 3 kings and a small coho we marked fish non stop 100-150ft down . We tryed by the pier heads for 30min before we headed out deep didn't have any hits or see any action .

Poorboy the majority of the marks were in the top half of the water column. Marked a lot of bait balls high & a couple of balls on the bottom, perch, maybe. Radio talk sounded like a few perch being caught in the afternoon and New Buffalo getting some silver fish. Catfish the BEST skunk bait I have been using is anything I use! Lol Rudey
