Many reports also from Waukegon Harbor catching limits of Kings.
Might have to head north.

Be safe

It's a long run from Portage, but it may be worth it at this point. The north winds won't let up and it sure doesn't look like we have any sign of fish pushing in anytime soon.

Se we fished Friday night as well fished from 2 til 7 pm after I got off work…. Within the first 30 minutes we had 2 on!!! Shortly after we went from heavy clouds and a mist to bright sunshine, and we did NOT GET A SINGLE BITE AFTER!!! Surprisingly we had seen Thursday night about 30 guys fishing and maybe 10 on Friday night!!! I can only assume the locals were aware of the skies clearing and figured it wasn’t going to be any good.  Anyway as far as Milwaukee harbor went there were tons of fish there whether we were in the river trolling or fishing inside their massive break walls tons of fish rolling the surface everywhere. It was super rough on the big lake but we normally troll racines harbor mouth fish we’re hitting flasher flies and green glow spoons and j plugs about 18-25 feet down

Tim, it's awful tempting to pull mine Friday and head north Saturday morning, but if I do that, I won't be putting back in after that.

We were in Milwaukee last week Friday through Sunday (9/8-9/10).  We couldn't buy a bite in the harbor or river trolling (which is usually pretty productive for us).  There were tons of fish in the river Friday and less throughout the day on Saturday.  Friday morning fish were hitting jigging spoons, but turned into pretty much a spawn sacs under bobber bite after that.  We saw some boats catch 10-20 fish on Friday and Saturday (we really struggled because we did not have spawn sacs).

The lake finally layed down Sunday morning and we got out on the big lake.  Went 2 For 8 (we had a couple trolling rookies lose a couple of the fish).  Fish were on spoons and F/F down 60-75 over 140 to 180 FOW.

The highlight of the weekend was my 15 year old daughter it toughing out and getting her first salmon!

We are planning on going again this weekend, Saturday through Monday.  If anyone else is heading that way let me know and we can share notes.  I'm fishing out of a red lund alaskan with a grey bimini top.
