Thanks fellas,
Don you have no idea how bad I am hurting right now. The legs are like wet noodles.
( the muzzle loader is ready for that big 10)
So now that I had a little fun with you all, I'll tell the truth.
Donna and I headed out to Lake Erie. We fished out of Huron. The fish were caught west of Huron by Cedar Point. I tried every damn thing I had as far as tackle and couldn't get them to go. Then I found one last box with reef runners # 800's,
30 back then 2 oz. wieght and 45 ft back to the board. That is what they wanted. Speed-1.5 was to slow, and 1.9 was to fast.
Now for those of you that have been there, the night bite is suppose to be twice as good. You wouldn't believe how many locals and charters are night fishing out there. Safe to say more locals are fishing at night then people who fish during the day.
The perch were on fire also. If you went east from huron and fished 28 to 30ft. you were in perch, and alot of them.
So with the wind and temps the way they were we took the day and headed out to give it a try. Fried walleye for supper last night, can't get much better than that.
