Hey Southenders,

I am starting this thread so everyone can have a chance to show off their rig! This will also help when identify who belongs to what boat when were out on the water or by water even for those guys who trailer. Write whatever you want about your rig but make sure to upload some pics.

Excited to see what turns up!

I'll go first. As alot of you guys know already:

Boat: Jinx 270 Offshore Sport Craft. 27' long and 10' wide. 454 7.4L Mercruiser powers her and boy does she purr nicely. My father and I co captain her. You might see a few reports from him on here even!
Setup: 4 riggers, 4 rod holder tree on each side for planners. and a ton of rod holders in between.
Home port: St Joe Michigan. (Live in Oak Lawn) Jinx is slipped at Eagle Point Harbor up the river a little.

She rides really nicely in the Lake Michigan slop due to her heavy fiberglass hull, some people have said the Sport Crafts ride like old Cadillacs in the waves..more through them than bouncing on top. Always on the radio for those who venture out of St Joe.

Looking forward to a great year and stay safe out there! Here are some pics and a video of when we crossed the lake from Kenosha Wisconsin to St Joe.

Mine is not perfect for the big lake, but has the versatility I need for all the various fishing I do. Someday I will get a big lake boat......someday.

Jeff what size boat is that? 21'? Looks like a solid big lake boat still with the versatility to do whatever the day brings.

yea its 21 but the hull is designed more for performance that handling big water. It fishes the big water just fine - its running in big water thats the issue. on plane speed is about 20 and that beats you up in 3 footers.........heck even 2 footers can bang you around a bunch. Either way I make it work :)

2010 tracker pro guide 16V, she's just a little bud but it gets the job done as long as the winds don't blow to bad. Its my first boat, got it all rigged for trolling the big lake last year after I went trolling for salmon for the first time and was instantly hooked. new to this site and just wanted to say that its great!!! look forward to seeing everyone on the water and hopefully fishing this night tournament !!!

2006 Polar Kraft 178TC.
Yamaha 90hp
Like others, it's a little small for the big lake but I make it work on calmer days.
My first real boat besides the 8' Jon I had as a kid. Bigger would be nice, but darn it this thing catches fish and is great on gas!
