Ed is correct.  The cost to use the cleaning station is $300/yr for slip holders.  Of course none of us are happy about it.  Whether I agree with it or not, here is the reasoning:

1)  Its undersized.  Expensive mistake from when they first purchased it.  Its sized fine if the anglers take care of it and use it right.
2)  Anglers dont use it right.  Some people dump 25lb fish down it the wrong way or like they are taking out the trash.  It creates a problem with the blades and motors.  which ultimately leads to significant maintenance costs.
3)  People sneaking in to use it (alot).  They treat is just as poorly and on a significant more frequent basis.

At the end of the day, Marina Shores was going to remove the cleaning station.  A group of us anglers got together and figured out how to save it.  The cost sucks, but its so important to have.  Perhaps over time it will be much more reasonable, but for now it is what it is.  Else it would be no more.

Soon there will be wrought iron around it and keyed access via enabled fobs.
