Anyone hear of the status? I assume pushed to Sunday with fingers crossed. I called and texted Rich but go not answer / response.

I know last year the decision was made Saturday AM at the lake to push it to Sunday. This year I would think the forecast would make it easier to call ahead of time. Sunday isn't necessarily looking great either in my opinion.

Yep I remember - was trying to figure out if they were going to do that again this year, although not like I would actually go to the ramp tomorrow anyway lol. Either way it would actually be nice to be able to find out information.

I'm not going tomorrow either. Highly doubt it would be fishable. Planning on Sunday God willing.

I was surprised that it was a last-minute decision to push it back last year, thought it was somewhat of a no brainer then. This year is even more obvious, in my opinion. I would hope that as an organization, the fact there is a small craft advisory through 1am Sunday, and that the fleet is comprised of quite a few "small craft", they wouldn't really push trying to make it happen tomorrow. I plan on sleeping in tomorrow and will check the boards for an update. If for some reason it goes, and any of you participate.....God's speed gentlemen.

I finally talked to Rich - they will make the call tomorrow morning. I will not be showing up tomorrow as we all know the tournament will not happen on Saturday. Hopefully Sunday holds up. If waves are 3' or less it will be a go.

Yep. I talked to Mike McKee at the meeting the other night and they realize there are a lot of small boats. He feels 3' or less at the buoy and its a go. I suppose there is some chance it will lay down so they want to make an appearance in the am. Hopefully it starts laying down tomorrow eve and we have good water on Sunday. Not holding my breath!

I was bored and my wife was snoring so I went to the ramp this morning for the official call off. Talked to Rich for about an hour. It is still a go for tomorrow morning. If it's still bad they will call it in the morning.
