Well welcome to the group. Been a lot of new recruits this year so far. Good deal of info on the site. We all look forward to reports good or bad and of any insights you have on fishing the lake.

I think most missed your first post. You came in on another new member thread. From most reports they should be in the area for a while yet. Mostly from the ditch to the west but will go more easterly as water warms a bit. Ed "Split" can answer a bunch of questions as he is one of the more experienced anglers on the site. In fact all the moderators are experienced in trolling for the big 5. All will help out with answers. They helped get me started.

Plane to sea mentioned the tournement on the first. I would love to fish that bit my boat and equipment wouldnt allow that. Is there a way to find a boat that needs or wants another person?

Probably just post in the tournament thread / discussion that you are free if anyone has any extra slots.
