Hello everybody! Thanks for the add! I just bought my 1st boat last November. 05 16’ Deep-V Lund I took my 2 sons out by the hole in the wall in March for the 1st time ever trolling. Had no idea what I was doing. We didn’t have any trolling rods we just used 2 of my bass rods with shad rap cranks rigged up. Caught 4 coho. That’s the extent of my trolling career. Since then I have picked up 4 trolling rod & reel combo & rod holders, 4 planner boards and more cranks. Anyways I just recently found this site and glad I did. I want to thank everybody for all the info you put on here. I’ve learned a lot from this forum and look forward to contributing to this forum with reports.

Made a good choice joining up here. Lots of info put out there by the membership. It is about having a good time and learning while you are doing doing it. Sounds like you have gotten a good start on the coho equipment. You need to come with some 6 inch red dodgers and some coho peanut flies to add to your arsenal.

Welcome aboard. Make sure to stock a few of the Brad Thin fish red tigers before spring. They are a main lure for spring coho. you can pick them up locally at Slez bait or at Calumet Marine

I have already picked up a couple of the red black squiggles and wonder bread because of what I read in the forums on this sight. Can’t wait to give them a try. What about the storm thin fin ? They look like same lure for half the price. Thanks
