Worst year here since the drought year three seasons ago. I caught a few, enough to eat and hand a gallon or two out to friends and relatives, but several of my most reliable trees didn't produce. Hopefully, their underground root system is storing up for a giant crop next year. The year after the drought was record setting!
I ended up with 1 but it was foul, just stunk from being to dry and was disfigured and a dark dark brown, only the second time this has happened in 20 years. But I did have morels here for the first time here last spring.
Retired friday and moving to a smaller place next spring so we will see what the future brings lol.
