Fished St Joe on Saturday for perch.  Not much going on.  Did manage 3 is all out in front of the big south wall in about 37’ of water.  Did mark small schools of perch on bottom here and there so I don’t imagine it will be too much longer.  

I can’t get over how clear the water is.  We went in shallow looking for perch.  Once we reached 22’ of water could see bottom clearly.  Don’t know when I’ve seen the lake that clear.   

 

You can sight fish for sure when you can find them, seeing 100s of perch over the side of the boat and catching 1 and having tons follow the hooks all the way up is amazing. Hope it gets that good again this year.
