Fished mud line out of Portage this morning. (6-16-22) Seemed to be marking schools here and there but hardly any bites. Did manage to boat three jumbos using minnows. Had a few get away. Should be soon. This north wind next few days going to send the perch out deeper most likely. Was one other boat out there and speaking to them the same, few boated.

Be safe out there

I received 2 different reports out of MC from yesterday - both were from 30 feet depth and said anything outside of that was very slow.

Not limit catches but looked like nice size fish

Weather looks stable for the next couple days, I'd think about getting out there before north winds arrive later this week

Lots of boats perch fishing this morning out of portage. Going to head out tomorrow to give it a go. Was marking a ton between 30-35' as we gave an early try for steelhead even outside of the pack of boats.
