TOPIC:

After decent action on Wednesday we decided to head out again Thursday afternoon. We set lines at 5:30pm in 75fow and worked our way north to 90fow then turned and headed back south and pulled lines at 8:15. We ended up 4-6 with a nice 14.5lb king and 3 lake trout with one being the biggest ever on the boat at 22.5lbs. Our king came on a 150 of morgans copper with a michigan stinger mag carmel dolphin and our big trout came on a 7 color with a yellow blue and green pro king mag spoon. It was a great afternoon of fishing we did decent only running 6 rods for a few hours. Here are some pics enjoy!

I know most dis the lakers, but aren't they magnificent? Way to go! My best was a 25.6 pounder years ago. Weighed by the DNR at Lefty's Coho Landing. Not many of the peeps now-a-days even know where Lefty's was located.

They sure don't fight like a king but a 20+ lb fish is a blast to catch no matter what it is I couldn't believe the size of it once we got it in the boat it was a tank!

Never saw lakers this big back in the 70's and 80's. When they get into that 20+lb, range they start looking like monsters for sure! Would love to know how old that fish is.

He was the old fella that ran lefty's bait shack for awhile. Lefty or Bobby got rid of him, then had many different peps working the old bait shack.
