Just an FYI if you are planning to go to Michigan. Under the governor’s revised “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive Order 2020-42, physical outdoor activity, such as kayaking, canoeing and sailing, remains permissible. However, the use of a motorboat, jet ski or similar watercraft is not permitted for the duration of the Executive Order, which is currently set to expire at 11:59 p.m. April 30. Prohibition

A little too much government control going on. I am not sure what the benefits of shutting down recreational fishing are. So happy that I just bought both a Michigan license and season launch pass at N.B.

Your right dirty she is. I live in Michigan the whole state is been a train wreck since she took office. Can't put your boat in to go fishing but it's ok for Illinois people to come here for the weekend while all this is going on. My small town is full of them I guess the stay at home order doesn't pertain to them.

Afuel, Im one of them, been going to st joe to work on my boat, grab fishing gear, and walk the beach. Nothing wrong with enjoying outdoors while social distancing with my family.

The orders from the Michigan gov is out of control, no reason I couldn't take the family out ok the lake and not bother anyone else. Just like a car. Now some people bring up what happens in an emergency when coast guard has to come rescue and someone could be infected. I dont see that any different if your in a car accident on your way to a hiking trail, which is allowed. Then the police are involved. Whole thing is a joke.

I can live without it for the next 3 weeks for the benefit of others, but if were going to be this severe on boaters then I'd like it to be the same for other similar hobbies, go big or go home to get the virus under control.

Hope everyone lives thru this pandemic. When there is a treatment or vaccine then we can all have a bitch session afterwards..I certainly wouldn't want to work a shift in a icu unit. Anyone have a relative that does??????
And I wouldn't wish on anyone what some folks are going thru. Can you tell me who the carriers are? Please point them out for me.
Being in a high risk range I guess makes some look at this differently.

I agree Ed its a very real thing out there. My point is if were going to shut down boating then shut down the other outdoor activities to get this under control quicker. I seen loads of people at the parks, at the pier non of them fishing not practicing social distancing. The trails are packed and people are passing 2 feet by someone else.

If they are going to shut one thing down, then shut it all down to turn the corner quicker.
