Don't forget the big new launch facility that was slated for the nipsco property in Michigan city. Was going to be a first class operation. Now, still stuck with the debacle at wash Park. Trail creek is ok, but if you want to fish morning twilight for salmon/steelhead, good luck

Launched out of Pastrick this morning and as IN residents and probably the tenth or eleventh boat in, we didn’t pay today, but I agree that the policy for a launch fee is hit or miss depending on the day and in state, out of state, etc. It definitely should be posted near the guard booth so it can’t be changed on a whim depending on who is there and the day. I’ve heard after 15 boats, 20 boats, etc they start charging, but it doesn’t seem to be across the board or consistent in the least.

Yeah, I was out 4/2 as well and it was $25 cash for me , from Illinois .  My biggest beef is that the fish cleaning station still isn’t working, same as last year at same time,  what’s our money going towards?????

The fish cleaning station will not open until the temps stop getting below freezing. They turned on the water 2 seasons ago to early and busted the main valve. We definitely don't want that to happen, especially with the way the world is now getting parts for anything are back ordered. I was also informed that people parking their trucks and trailer inside will be towed and that parking your rig Infront of the fish cleaning station to clean fish blocking a lane will not be tolerated this year. As far as launch fee I will ask them to post rates for everyone.  I don't work there just informing everyone what I have been told by marina staff. Hope everyone has a great season.

I always ask if I can park inside if there are not many people there.  two Sundays ago they let me park inside since I was the only one there I guess they figured it wouldn't matter LOL.  Its a shame that lack of common sense on some people part ruins it for everyone.   That being said hopefully they still let you park near the fish cleaning station as long as you don't block the through lane.

Talked to the guard shack today, he told the first “30” IN guys get in free, all other vessels pay the $25 fee.  Reports coming after our trip tomorrow.
