Really good information to consider and I for one appreciate this positive communication.

I support the Tournament even if the funds weren't needed. Doing something like this brings people with a common interest together for a game, fun,
competition and gathering. Then using the funds that have been raised to donate to the state for the purpose to help with the very sport that we enjoy.

Here is some information for those that will write or call the proper state reps.

176 jobs within the 3 counties and the Lake Michigan Indiana fishery produces 13 million annually to the state in yearly revenue. The Seagrant study did not pick up what our charter captains add in to the annual revenue back to the state. Since the study was done back in 2016 inflation would also have to be added in. Please let them know how you feel about our hatcheries like Mixsawbah that need infrastructure work to keep the state revenue flowing and the fishery here strong.
