And to add....the steelie sizes from my last trip on Tuesday was outstanding. Big and thick healthy fish full of energy.

Ben have you heard when they are going to run the PPR? Last I heard in spring, it would happen around the end of June.

Yes, end of June/early July is the completion target, ahead of the tech committee meeting in mid-July

Yeah I’ve seen the same thing happening this year. The bait just doesn’t seem to be out there like it was before and most of the fish we’re catching feel smaller than usual. We got into a few coho last weekend and almost all of them had empty stomachs or just a couple gobies. Only one or two had any sign of alewives. Lately we’ve had better luck changing up our fishing lures to more natural looking ones that match what little bait is around. Feels like something is definitely off out there this season. Anyone else seeing the same?
