Overall a few people have complained that they get too many emails. I would tend to agree. Since the site started, there is a subscribe check box when you post that is automatically checked. If you do not uncheck it, you will get an email every time someone responds.

I can change the behavior so that box is unchecked, and if you wish to receive an email you will have to check the box. I think that may be the best behavior, but it will be a change. So please participate in this poll:

For topics that you are already subscribed to, you will continue to receive emails but those should fade out quick as those topics are retired.
