While everyone else is zigging. Well, maybe not quite everyone because I’m sure there was a bass tourney today too. Any how, hit up the rocks at EC for an hour this afternoon at sunset. Tossed a suspending jerkbait around first but my only 2 bites were on a homemade PBJ jig rubber and hair jig I tied. Seems like a late spawn for them this year to me. I seem to think they usually congregate on the full moon in April to spawn and they don’t seem to be in in any numbers yet. First fish was a nice chunk I’d estimate at 14 or 15 inches, second was a tank probably pushing 20.
